Les sites sont plus tranquil aujourd'hui - il y a moins de voisins à l'oeuvre 

mais il y a plusieurs jeunes de la grande famille ... 

Et l'accueil chaleureux de chacun rend l'ouvrage plus facile

The worksites are quieter today - there are fewer neighbours around to help

but there are many youngsters from the wider family...

And the warmth of the welcome from everyone makes the work easier

SITE 1

SITE 2

Presque tous les blocs du site ont été ramassés par les dominicains. 

Maintenant on ramasse petites roches et terre pour faire le remblai - 

égaliser les planchers qui seront finis au ciment, une tâche 
plus difficile l'après-midi à la chaleur.

Nearly all the remaining blocks have been gathered by the Dominicans; 

now in the heat of the afternoon we pick small stones and gather earth to fill in low spots 

of the floors - levelling them to make them ready for pouring cement.

Vers 17h30 nous quittons El Limón pour rentrer à San José.

Le paysage le long de la route est très beau au soleil baissant mais il y a 

plein de trous et de grosses bosses... et une qui a faillit projeter Albert hors du camion!

About 5:30 we leave El Limón to go to San José. The scenery on the route is quite pretty 

in the light of the setting sun but there are many holes and plenty of bumps... 

one almost causes Albert to fall out of the truck!

 

 

Enfin les 5 kms de route en gravier sont passés et nous voyons San José dans la vallée...

At last we're done with the 5 kms of gravel road and see San José in the valley below...
